Sometimes I Could Scream
sometimes i could scream
hands over face
living for a feeling
and an open space
eating away,
at what i think –
so selfishly is mine
leaving to share
well it takes time
sometimes i could scream
in the panic,
to look for an oar
i forget to check the lock
the one on the door
hands over eyes
hands hiding surprise
so much inside
those inner lies
like a truth lost in a maze
much will collide
sometimes i could scream
