I Am Worried About You
i am worried about you
even though you have died
i am concerned,
i fear life leaving you behind
but you are dead
and your living body impossible to find
i find laughter
but occasionally,
it is laced with guilt
as move forwards in life
with the new things we have built
you have died
and are not here to share
right now i can only believe –
that you are somewhere
i am concerned about
concerned that even though you have died
you are somewhere –
wondering why you are no longer alive
and ready to face new days
days with us,
days which quickly seem to fade
days where even the dust begins to rust
