Oxygen Thieves
some people always –
have to better than others
every remark uttered –
from their vile gob
no matter what the words –
just tells you they’re a snob
clinging onto life’s ladder
with just a finger and a thumb
desperate to better
but in reality, quite dumb
some people always –
see others misfortune –
as a chance to promote themselves
the truth is, those people –
really just want to be somebody else
they are riddled with insecurity
and they lack self belief
that is the reality of those –
who are no more than oxygen thieves
