Frustration Turns to Anger – Written June 1997 (Aged 22)

Frustration Turns to Anger

frustration turns to anger
and makes things much worse
it prolongs the hurt
you do not appear to see
either that,
or you simply do not care
i am trying to save our friendship
only because,
i believe it is worth something
you talk about being too involved
you should remember
that i am part of that involvement
and that not matter how much –
you choose to look down on me
in that sense, i am your equal
even if it appears,
you could not care less
i think it is time to look around
it has to be a case of self respect
and i have to ask, why are you doing this?
