I Don’t Want to Feel Different
i don’t want to feel different
it’s not something i crave
don’t make me feel different
as if my soul needs to be saved
don’t talk about me
as if i have an illness
i don’t want to feel different
it means i am groundless
the outside is no place to be
being told what you are
it does not appeal to me
don’t make me feel different
i need to see clearly
i need to be part of it all
don’t regurgitate my past
because all it means
is that dreams are part of a fast
i don’t want to feel different
it’s not something i crave
everyone is different
it is the way which they are made
push me to the edge
and you will watch closeness fade
