^{What Are These Needs?}

‘special needs’,
how i hate the term
it is always used in ignorance
and those too trite to learn
how awful it must be
how patronising it must be
the child with, ‘special needs’
and what are those needs?
it makes me sick
makes me want to vomit
poor children,
struggling for identity
labelled and patronised
‘special needs’,
what are those needs exactly
please define those needs
tell me exactly how it helps
