Defined

defined by childhood
by the countryside
the isolation
the self sufficiency
defined by them?
crazy adults
throwing verbal knifes –
at one another
defined by her?
she looks good
wearing red dancing shows
defined by wars
that we gawp at on the news
defined by stale drink
in cracked bottles
defined by words
that tumble out of my mind
defined by the dead
always easy to find
