Younger – Written December 2006 (Aged 31)

back then we were younger
back then we hardly knew –
which way was was up
and the smell of cheap perfume
was just about enough
my, how we have grown
and who could have known
that we would be standing here
back then –
we were so much younger
we were –
just trying level out the world
but i know –
there are always mountains to climb
back then when we so much younger
