Change Is The Only Constant In Life

there are no constants in life
the only constant i can think of,
is change
you keep your name
pay the tax,
work hard,
with a coat draped upon your back
because change is the only constant in life
everything is different
and revolves inside your memory
you do your best
and set out to sea
but saying goodbye is an ever present reality
and that is always so difficult
because we hope that things stay just as they are
especially when we are comfortable
we hope life phases just do not exist
but people,
they are just windows in our lives
and so many constantly change
but change is the only constant in life
