Time – Written Thursday 28th April 2022 (Aged 47)

too much time
time is not a gift
because when you roll it over
every side has a, ‘what if’
i know time is precious
but, so what?
should i sit here
and count the time stones
or should i,
just climb the walls alone
too much time
it starts to press all the way down
someone said to me in passing
that time is a gift,
but they were laughing
at the way time never fits
it is up and down
and travels in magic lifts
should i sit here
and count the ones i lost
or should i join a union
and tell them who is the boss
