I Missed You Today

missed you today,
you not there,
doesn’t mean allot perhaps
but when i look at the days
and when i compare
the ones i enjoy
always seem to have you there
don’t really know you
sort of stumbled upon you
whilst stumbling around in the dark
no instant feeling
no sharing of heart
but really like you
the balance you bring
missed you today,
you not here,
make the day go by a a little easier
don’t know what it means
respect your independence
do not want to encroach on you space
missed you today
your company and your pretty face
