Lost to Waves

i am lost to waves
but,
i cannot change the times that have passed
i know,
they will never come around again
and i tire of people and their assumption
the assumption,
that you cannot see through them
or the idea,
that truthful words cannot easily perish
for even truthful words can have brittle armour
and i am all seeing
even if i cannot change it or explain why –
i am lost to waves
