Middle Ground – Written Saturday 23rd July 2022 (Aged 47)

Middle Ground

there is middle ground
and,
the sandbanks seem so sound
but we live in a society
being slowly dragged down
power is money
and too much money,
is too much power
in corruption they happily shower
it is why,
they lower us down
so that we sit or crouch beneath the bridge
and it is true,
division has got us crazy,
there is no solution on which we can chew
