I Lived You
i lived through your problems
and in turn,
i lived through your disease
i lived it,
till i was chained,
and down on my knees
your justification was –
that it was all me
that justification starts out bad
and can only finish poorly
i can tell you,
you behaved like you did
because of who you are
not because i drove you towards it
after all,
you chose to believe what you did
from counting phone calls
to the minutes on the bill
from nasty digs,
to accusations about my partner
and suggesting i was ill
i lived your problems
and i understand how it must feel
but you are a trauma led case,
and none of the fear is real
