I Am Not Here

i am not here
pulled from heaven
by the pull of fear
i am not here
but you may find me
a ghost always near
i am not earth
nor its sand
i am not the sky
or the hallowed ground

i am not here
but you may find me
somehow near
with glass skies
and windswept sand dunes
across a desert beach
i am not here
but i am within reach
and my ghost
on its presence you can feast
i am not here
