Occupation – Written Friday 6th July 2001 (Aged 26)

Occupation

i try to keep myself occupied
but i am dismayed,
you are never misplaced
its clarity is revealing
i’m haunted constantly by your face
trying to keep myself occupied
but day to day living,
isn’t so precise,
i try to keep myself occupied
you are my only vice
i miss you,
like the sun that doesn’t shine
i know the end result
will turn out fine
i try to keep myself occupied
but it is hard to pass the time
when you are constantly on my mind
