There Is Not Going Back

there is no going back
we do not speak of it,
but inside we know
and we know of the outcome
i know you think of it,
i think of it too
we will not have a say,
because as in any relationship,
each day will be a magic bonus
but you know and i know
there is no going back ‘
we know it in our hearts
that thing could go on
there is no going back
