Waiting For The Day
i pick apart the day
hoping it will go away
i play with toy soldiers
fighting toy like wars
i am an enemy of the state
and i am feeling so bored
i pick apart the day
just hoping it will go away
or waiting for it to transform
i play with the spinning wheel
but you cannot tell me everything
and you cannot tell me how i feel
so i pick apart the day
counting hours and minutes
as i play with my toys
just waiting inside
just waiting till the day
when you arrive
