Points In Time

points in time,
in our lives,
times when the answers felt right
and,
they tumbled out of us
without ever thinking that we may be wrong
winning ways,
and younger days
when the frame of rightness
sat around our faces
and at every dining table
we had certain places

points in time,
points in our lives
when the harsh encounters of life
had not yet sat us down and told us the truth
when we thought,
we had life’s blessing
points,
when the lessons had not yet been sought
because we were high on our own truth
and we believed in what we thought it had bought
put life lessons out of your mind
and you, you will still be caught
