Fill Up Your Eyes With Sleep
fill up your eyes with sleep
let’s take days out,
on the beach
let’s talk about what we know
and all the things we’ve done
where we would like to go
let’s go outside,
and see what’s happening
it is a cruel but beautiful world
it is warm enough,
and not too cold
let’s go to the beach
let’s have a drink
sometimes we just need to hold on
and sometimes we just need to think
let’s curl up together,
and fill up our eyes with sleep
