Sometimes In Life We All Need An Exit
it takes confidence to say you are not
to say i had it there but now it’s forgot
it take courage to put your hand up
and say,
i am not coping
come to think of it security is eloping
there is no shame in feeling weak
and never apologise
for the feelings you speak
sometimes in life we all need an exit sign
a clearly marked map
when we have gone too far
someone to show us the way back
it does not make you stupid
or any less of a person
it does not even have to be a contrived lesson
it just shows that you are human
so find the courage when the chips are down
make sure it is friends
for whom you never have to rummage
i am always around
