With Balance
trying to be yourself
it is never easy
trying to remain upright
and with balance
it is never easy
what one person sees
another person never gets
what one person adores
another easily forgets
i could tell you –
that my heart is for let
but you would say
i am not the safe bet
trying to be yourself
unashamed and unabashed
someone thinks you a treasure
another, just some trash
i would like to make it –
without falling to pieces
complete the moments
and find new ones to live
it may come in fits and starts
but i have plenty to give
