Socially Inept

i was told that i was socially inept
and when it came to people
i was not adept
that all my failure was down to this
that was what i was told
that all this was down to autism
how nice,
for the genuinely autistic
for the carers,
working twenty four seven with little thanks
how nice for them to know
that there are people like you
someone who thinks all negative traits
can be assigned to this condition
i was told i was emotionally stunted
that my development had been blunted
what development is this?
the stay at home be alone
and never embrace the world type
that you do,
it’s a glass house and stones situation
