Cranes of Love
there is kindness and support
i sit in the back,
and i am caught
arms extend –
like cranes of love
catch my falling star
it’s metallic to the touch
these lifestyle blows hurt most
in the engine room below
let me slip off –
all my well worn clothes
i sit in the back,
until kindness starts to glow
let me be changeable
but let me be sure
i am fragile like paper glass
and my self reflection –
is easily put to task
where is kindness…
i know where –
it i a multitude of people
showing all of us they care
