Wrap Arms Around Me

wrap arms around me
so that –
‘not good enough’
is chased far away
i have pulled up trees
and removed –
every graze from my knees
i have felt every moment
of their tangible weather
so that –
i can try and hold it together

wrap arms around me
so that –
‘not good enough’
is chased far away
i am pushing on
and possibly right through
i am reinventing my blank slate
and moving sizable views
so that –
i can try and hold it together
and storm this change
with meaningful letters
