James Garratt,

Not So Weird

i am weird –
so they keep on telling me
get close and take me home
you say i’m not so weird
and that you want to play games
so we flirt like crazy
and rearrange our names
then, when it gets too much
then suddenly, i’m weird
when you’re well into it
and you are up to your knees
you say no more, please
leave me alone, you’re weird
you said i wasn’t
then you say i am
how am i meant to understand
i am not what i seem
i am good inside
and i don’t want to die
i’m weird,
but i am not what people tell me
can’t they see?
why can’t i just relate

      2. I think so 🙂 I had a lot of emotional sorting out post childhood – I had a lot of toxicity which I didn’t recognise. Couldn’t seem to settle 🙂 It’s the emotional deregulation

      7. Through childhood trauma, yes. Through emotinal tumroil? Never. 😉
        I am very lucky and rich to have wonderful people in my life. When you have a foundation like that, you can find a way through anything.
