See The Faces

see the faces,
see them as flesh and blood
see the sadness
which is almost,
which is almost too much
see the faces,
see them roam around your scope
your dreams,
sometimes people merge as a pattern
and hope is lost between the seams
see the faces,
painted or otherwise
see what they crave
what they love and what they despise
cross a busy street
in a place like london city
every step is a step on your heartbeat
see the faces,
see them mingle with crowds
see them come alive
