Sixteen Reasons
at least sixteen reasons
to run and hide
one more obvious one
as to why i should stay alive
your life is their life
and theirs is yours
it’s up to us to scale the buildings
it’s up to us,
when it comes to where we set our sights
at least sixteen reasons
why suicide does not make sense
you cannot run and hide
or stay upon the old park bench
you have got to stay alive
you have got to make your move
because if you are telling stories
make sure the characters come through
at least sixteen reasons
why things are this way
if you paint my pictures
make sure you include the day
