Rich Beauty of Forgotten Reason
the canopy of life
flaps gently in the wind
but int he windmill of dreams
i search for friend
the rich beauty of forgotten reason
the horse chestnut –
in this invaluable season
i search the litter
on the soft autumn floor
the wind is kind of bitter
but way is to be adored
i scrabble for a plinth on which to build
i search for intelligent thought
some kind of harvest to yield
the rich beauty of forgotten reason
the canopy of life
the market stall of ambition
will roads lead to a perfect destination
dreams come to fruition
and in the end it will always be
the rich beauty of forgotten reason
