Hold Onto Love
Now,
it is time for you to leave.
Hold onto love,
hold onto the rail.
Now,
it’s time for the final gale…
But the storm —
it will come
and eventually go.
Those that love you
will be caught
in its flow;
but they do love you,
and they will
always love you.
I know he loved you
when we were clinging
to the millennium
and watching fairground rides
collapse.
He loved you —
he just knew
that you were broken.
And now,
a point arrives
which naturally breaks
everyone’s hearts.
It is time
to say goodbye,
and time
to finally depart.
