i wonder about the 1990’s day
is it a case of, grab your friend
simply because it is a sign of peace
or is it because some think this is the end

you never know what is going to be
never know what is round the corner
never know, you may bump into me
tomorrow is the surprise box

believe, that the kid needs their fantasy
please do
believe, that the grown ups need it too
more than most
once the childhood we had
disappears into the past to become a ghost

i can give you my heart
my life, my dreams, my love
but still it may never be enough
i can give you everything i have got

magic is mysterious
yet it can also be delirious
perilous and escapist z

losing your girlfriend who is really special
don’t that really get you down
cautious nature and a tentative touch
slow this down, it is all too much
wonderment for a lighted show

you must be a part of a plan
otherwise i will never understand
you have got to make sense, not be poetry

i was i was okay and the world was fine
but it is out of touch
and life is over the boundary line
no one knows how hard it has been
i feel so tired,
imagination needs to be hot wired
