Sit With Me
I was caught by stark reality
no one knew why I was doing this
I made no pledge
so sit with me on the edge
my box has already been made
but be a companion
and get me out of your cage
so sit with me
so tell me a few jokes
so tell me what you do
so it was me
well I am aware of you
well I did not know
so sit with me
and cry on my shoulder
pull me towards your thoughts
it is getting colder
so sit with me
I was caught getting older
it was my boring mature conversation
it did not compel them to my situation
so why am I doing this
just sit with me
