Good at Hiding

the class system and the establishment
never went away
it just got good at hiding
it amassed years of learning
and it became good at surviving
it learned to do,
what it needed to do
it became good
at convincing people like you
it learned power and wealth –
can define what is true
the rich, wealthy, powerful elite
got good at smiling
whilst revelling in deceit
they convinced the world they were nice
they learned powerful lies –
will always entice
playing the game
the class system and establishment
have not gone away
they have committed embezzlement
with the ethics we have and the words we say
