Verbal Violence
sometimes, in those days,
the blows
they were harder to take
and what was once -‘
just a brush
became to much more
and the verbal violence
is what it’s become
i am fragile
but more than a hum
i did not know –
what this verbal violence meant
i wonder sometimes
i am meant to accept it
