I Am a Mortal Mammal – February 2011

I Am a Mortal Mammal

i cannot advise which way –
you should turn
sometimes going forwards
is trapped like a vice
i am touched –
but do not seek my advice
i have a life –
with buckets of experience
and a few diamonds
but direction comes from within
all i did was look at the clouds
and begin to dream
others went out and bought things
i tried to work out what it means
i thought of you –
and i know it is not concise
but whatever you do
do not seek my advice
unless you want the bin –
turned upside down
and then inside out
i am a mortal mammal
i do not know what it is about
