Look for that Smile

would it be easier
to spend time crying
screaming out…
this is life
and there is not much i can say
it is true
part of something is dying
to pretend otherwise
is just a form of lying
but every day arrives
and i have to keep
fighting fit
and remaining positive
i am the first to admit
wallowing in self pity
is a pleasure
with a heavy tilt towards guilty
but i am here
in this strange and wonderful place
i will keep moving
and look for a smile on my face
