Can’t Imagine – Written Monday 25th September 2000 (Aged 25)

Can’t Imagine

can’t imagine a world without escape
can’t imagine a world without hate
i say, let’s escape
i need comic book heroes
life to me does not add up
it always comes out as zeros
can’t imagine else i could have done
can’t imagine a world without sea
i say let’s sail
let’s cross the street
and shake hands with others
can’t imagine what would happen
life to ne is confusion
but despite its cheap illusion
i sit and ask for an encore
it seems the need for attention
drives you on for more
can’t imagine a world without wait
can’t imagine a world without death
wait for death and dance with fate
