Sailing
spent a day sailing
like a day failing
i foamed at the mouth
then at the mouth of the sea
the hands that raised me
are the same hands that let go
spent a day living
making friends and believing
age came quick
it is not long before you wear a mature suit
because the child one no longer fits
i walked along sand
like grains of time
i timed their shine
it did not seem to last too long
went to find a new look
spent a day sailing
