Object of Hate – Written Wednesday 21st October 2009 (Aged 34)

Object of Hate

she keeps going over the issues
never working out –
or accepting the mistakes she made
grimly holding onto the notion
that her behaviour is justified
by how someone reacts to her
and with this idea she carries on
but all this shows is that she knows –
what she did is wrong
she keeps wonder about why he left
always clamouring for the answers –
of which she was bereft
i can be her target, her object of hate
all because she did not receive –
what she wanted or what she demands
i know her feelings remain in a prison
they will always be on remand
