I Lost Two
i lost two
they gave up on their feet
like statues
cold to the touch
unable to see their breath
unable to hold me
i lost two
i lost them to life
the harder side of life
given the ultimate choice
they follow their needs
it is a weakness
to be accepted and wanted
i did not want this
i wanted support
i lost two
they gave up on me
failure is fascinating
but hardly exhilarating
i lost two
alive but dead
death comes to those
who you least expect
