Be A Little Strange
Get away from there.
Don’t you care?
Don’t run your hands
through your hair.
Don’t stare.
Be a little careful;
your soul has been laid bare.
And I know I’ve been bad.
I am upset
that you are so sad,
but I am only a teen,
one who is seeing the unseen
and running from the dream.
Be a little strange
again and again.
The pain comes crashing down;
then it is all around,
and that noise is a sound.
