Your Delusional Disorder (Originally Untitled) – Written Thursday 7th September 2006 (Aged 31)

Your Delusional Disorder

i wonder what you are doing now
do you have any idea –
of the cell you put me in
when you self diagnosed me with autism
refusing to listen to my defence
or arguments that make complete sense
do you have any idea –
of what it feels like
to be over, ‘analysed’
with every action, every moment –
and every word,
linked a symptom of autism
yet you diagnosed me –
without ever knowing me –
or having the decency of getting to know me
refusing to listen to my defence
of any rational thoughts that made sense
you put me in a cell –
with no room to move
and with no space to breathe
you tried to tell me you could save me
and that others would always leave
do you have any idea –
i wonder what you are doing now?
