different versions –
that i see
and i never know –
which nicola i am getting
and –
which one will find me
differences –
in her form –
in the way she speaks
fragments –
each one a unique piece
different views –
from nicola’s world
fragments of nicola
nicola’s lifetime –
and who she has been
sunk on occasion –
by her watercolour dreams
sadness –
poured by a glass
and a responsibility laden childhood
that could hit so hard
