The Grief
i realised today
that grief,
is not, ‘one size fits all’
that loss,
is not a common call
it is a person
and me here
with my mum at my side
remembering me
grief has different tides
loss grows,
in different ways
shared gestures
provide some of the framework
but,
it is personal hurt
the personal view
the experiences you own
that mean everything to you
