Collapse
i am watching my life collapse around me
each brick, each stone,
each one falling
on me as i sit all alone
the foundations shift with a complete calling
i am watching my life collapse around me
and as scared as i am
i fee strangely remote
alone as i am, in this old fashioned lifeboat
i am watching my life collapse around me

Collapse – Written November 2006 (Aged 31)

It’s beautifully tragic how you describe this moment as poetry. It’s very evocative to me and heartbreaking.

Thank you Lucy – it’s very kind of you to comment 🙂 It’s that moment when everything falls like ti is falling down 🙂
