What is Lost – Written April 2002 (Aged 27)

What is Lost

what is lost can often never be found
thankfully, life is not like television
or that television is like life
because in the end,
it would be the station and not the light –
that we change
what is lost are that things are never the same
the cost, can often never be found,
or accessed,
what is there,
to be blessed?
thankfully life is not like the shadows
the ones that never get caressed
like the exams for which we never pass the test
what is lost can often never be found

James Garratt — April 2002
