My Rooms – Written Sunday 26th April 2015 (Aged 40)

My Rooms

i could tell you –
about my inside
my rooms
my places, my hideaway
with the mental turmoil
that we all swim in –
when it becomes too deep
do you want to know –
what makes me who i am
would you unravel the wires
let’s sit down
and talk about it
because i am very tired
and i fear –
for some of those wires
but tangled or not
this is how we are
could you tell me who you are?
i wonder if you would
as if dirty mess strewn past
means you ever actually could
