Broken Crockery
it is easy to rail against the world
when your fragility
is like broken crockery
too much to handle
every government feels like a hooligan
or an intentional vandal
the safety you crave
we all crave,
looks well buried
in the perfectly dug grave
i do not mean to mock your efforts
or your belief
but i do wonder
what problems are you chewing over
and what other things may need your teeth
but, externally,
the cold comfort of chaos
and fatalist approach
leave us in a place
where, at least, we can feel beyond reproach
it is easy to rail against the world
when your fragility
is just like broken crockery
