Standing at This Station
standing at this station
not sure which platform
or even my destination
funny as it seems,
some things do remain
because every night i dream
and i am on a train
but it never ends
i am not sure where i am going
or the way through
yet, i have met wonderful friends
i run through the station
the platforms have no numbers
no destination boards
yet i push through the crowds
the amassed hordes
i look at unsightly faces
with half hearted glances
and what a collection i see
but as i stand,
i still cannot work out my destination
