No Dropping of a Dress Size, No Flick of the Hair
i did not feel –
what they said was there
no dropping of a dress size,
no flick of the hair
it has to be real
something more than a play
something i can can feel
i have played the game
and it turns on a spit
burnt by ugly flame
i did not feel it
the heat and sweat
of tension that breaks a bulb
of a need
that has a total hold
no dropping of a dress size,
no flick of the hair
will ever crawl inside
what we feel has to be there
